Kuszczak seeks Fergie talks

Tomasz Kuszczak has voiced his frustration at playing such a minor role for Manchester United and plans to speak with Sir Alex Ferguson about his future.

The Polish goalkeeper has had few opportunities to impress over the past 12 months, with Ben Foster appearing to go past him in the pecking order.

Kuszczak admitted over the weekend that he may have to consider the option of going out on loan next season.

But he will not rush into a decision and will seek out Ferguson for talks as soon as possible.

"The contract at Manchester is for another three years, but I will make sure to speak to the manager about the situation, and about how he sees me in the team," the 27-year-told Polish magazine Pilka Nozna.

"I know one thing - this season certainly has not been the best in my career, and particularly not when compared with the previous one.

"I felt disappointed that the manager did not put me in the team for certain matches, and on occasions, when I was not picked as understudy for Edwin van der Sar.

"We will see what will happen in the future."
