Post How to ruin a club, by Rafa
Having won only 2 of a possible 6 home games, Inter are now 5th in the Serie A after having lost 1-0 to Milan despite having a man advantage for a good half hour..

Treble winners last season, and having walked the league for the last 6 years, all he had to do was come to Inter and leave things as they were....yet he managed to fuck that up too!

:lol

On the other hand Hodgson is showing how good Benitez was getting largely the same Liverpool squad into second place (minus Alonso) that is now battling relegation!

And minus Mascherano, plus Torres has pretty much been injured or playing half fit. I don't think Hodgson can be blamed for Liverpool's current predicament... he inherited a much worse side than Benitez had when he first joined Liverpool in my opinion.

Alonso, Mascherano, Benayoun and Arbeloa were massive players for Liverpool when they finished 2nd and players Hodgson doesn't have, plus they also had Hyypia knocking around as well when they needed him to fill in. I think it's hard to compare Hodgsons side to that side of two years ago when he doesn't have those players anymore.

Rafa lead a fairly similar side to the current bunch they have now to 7th place last season which Hodgson will more then likely match or better.

Ibrabimovich doing better for AC than Tevez is at City - imagine how Inter feel about having lost him to their rivals. He even got the winner in the derby last week.

I confess I don't follow the Serie A at all, but how you take a treble-winning side and cement them into 6th position in the first 13 games of the season is beyond me. I know it's 'early', and there's time to pick up, but still...
