Its hard to dislike either of the teams in this semi though. Ghana as the African underdogs, or Uruguay with Diego (woa-oh) in fantastic form. Hoping Ghana can achieve something special tonight but my head says Uruguay will shade it. Either way I'll be cheering the winner on in the semis.

I hope Uruguay get through purely for Diego Forlan.

Im glad Spain won it, Netherlands were filthy and Van Bommel was a disgrace through the whole tournament how he went through the World Cup without getting sent off is amazing.

Well done to Diego Forlan for winning the Golden Ball player of the tournament i thought he was fantastic all the way through.

Wouldn't have been possible without Iker Casillas two saves from Robben. Real Madrid.

Casillas has always been the luckiest keeper I've ever seen. I swear, so many times shots just rebound off him to safety when he hasn't got a clue what's going on. Great keeper, but unbelievably fluky at times.

Robben will replay that one-on-one moment in his head for the rest of his life.

Congrats to Spain though. This was their 'Golden Generation' and they've gone and won the European Championship and the World Cup, just like France did.

Scary to think how good Barcelona will be next season with Messi and Villa cutting in from the flanks and Xavi and Iniesta pulling the strings in the middle.
