I'm guessing we're going to look to cut off supply to Tevez considering he's the guy the whole team's playing around these days..

Oh' how sweet it would be to send West Ham down on the last day of the season just before we get our trophy back.

Revenge for '95.

I'm hoping for a goal spree, but surely Fergie will be resting most of the starting 11 for the Cup Final.

He's said he'll be fielding a relatively strong 11 on Sunday.

Yes, it would be nice ... Gary holding up the trophy, us jumping for joy; and the Hammers and their fans sobbing away in a tiny corner...

I cannot see the likes of Ronnie or rooney playing as west ham will be fighting ofr their lives flying into tackles.....especially if the news comes through that wigan are winning........personally as long as no-one gets injured i won't be bothered either way by the result....just want to see the trophy in nevs hands!!!!!

In spite of the Tevez/Mascherano saga and the influx of overpaid mercenary nancy boys (Neill, Upson etc.) I still kinda want West Ham to stay up - I know I shouldn't, but I do. Luckily it looks fairly likely that they will avoid relegation even if we do dish out a hammering (har-de-har)...

One the one hand, they play the game the right way and I've a lot of time for Curbishley and I half think I want them to stay up.

Then I remember Ludek Miklosko and the effigies of Beckham after '98 and couldn't be happier to see them sink.

He's been doing light running this week and stepped it up this morning. He's still not been working with a ball and is doubtful for the Cup Final so that almost definitely rules him out for Sunday (barring a miracle).

I've heard it reported that doctors were shocked to find out Saha is actualy made from ply wood!

No disrespect to Saha i'd settle for him being out for the start of next season to get Gazza in the starting line up Sunday & Next Saturday.

It all add's further strength to the rumour he'll be gone in the summer if Lyon or anyone else offer any kind of worthy money for him then he'll be shown the door IMO

Confirmation, effectively, of the same...

Ferguson fears the worst for final as Neville runs out of time

Daniel Taylor
Saturday May 12, 2007
The Guardian

Gary Neville will lift the Premiership trophy for Manchester United at the end of tomorrow's match against West Ham at Old Trafford but the club captain is having to come to terms with the news that he will almost certainly miss the FA Cup final.
Sir Alex Ferguson also has to plan for next Saturday's contest against Chelsea without Louis Saha with the striker ruled out for the rest of the season. Neville has not played since injuring his ankle during United's 4-1 defeat of Bolton Wanderers on March 17 and Ferguson does not believe there is sufficient time to recover.

...Saha's susceptibility to injury and it has led to angry words behind the scenes at the training ground. Saha has started only four matches in 2007 and there have been three occasions in the past six weeks when Ferguson has thought the player was fit only for him to pull out at the last minute.

"He has picked up an injury in his knee, believe it or not," said a frustrated Ferguson.
