Well apart from the result, few good positives. De Gea looked sharp, without him it would have been embarrassing. Kawaga looks like the real deal and a great signing. Yes we lost, but we were hopeless at the back against Fellaini so deserved that. Next week bit more sharpness please.

I thought Wellbeck and Nani were terrrible, they should have cashed in on Nani this year IMO. Yes kagawa looks the deal alright

De Gea looked good and I didn't think the back four were that bad considering we only had two defenders. Not sure why Vidic wasn't picking up Fellaini at the corners though and let Carrick have Jagielka.

Kagawa looked excellent on the ball and expecting good things from him. Nani was awful though, tried far too hard and didn't play as though he was part of the team, obviously Ronaldo was inconsistent to start with but Nani needs to start putting in good performances week in, week out now and start putting decent crosses into the box like we see from Valencia.

Disappointing start to the season but hopefully we can get the Rooney and Van Persie partnership into full swing over the next few games.

Maybe someone was scared and thought Everton would set up Jagielka after his international goal against Italy, but no excuse, I agree with you Dave, Vidic was the one to pick up Fellaini.

Nani looks like he's frustrated, papers saying he's on his way out, we will see what happens there.
