What are the odds!

Oh well, I guess we'll have to knock them out again :wink:

Its a tough draw, even though we won quite easily there in the league, they are a much better team this year, and I can see this coming back to OT for a repaly.

Againat all the odds we always draw Premiership teams, and it is guaranteed Chelsea and usually Arsenal get easy ties. I do not think we even average ONE game against non-Premiership opposition a season in the FA Cup.

However, the treble year was nearly all top flight sides, as it was last season when we made the final. Plus we have a great track record at Villa Park and we can cope with the amount of games as no Champions League at that point.

So bring it on...

Tough tie!!

But if we're going to win the Cup, well have to beat Premiership teams eventually.

At least we know what to expect from Villa. If you go to lower division teams it can be a potential "banana skin".

Tough draw.

O'Neill has already been speaking about how fired up everyone at Villa will be for this game, particularly with the history we've got playing Villa at their ground in the Cup.

I know the FA Cup is third in the priorities list this season, but I'm desperate for a good campaign after we lost so narrowly to Spartak Chelski in the final last year.

in the 98-99 treble winning season we faced Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal on the way to winning the FA cup and on our way to winning the Champions league we played Bayern, Barcelona Inter Milan and Juventus;
It is a tough draw but it's games like this that keep the players on their toes and IMO it brings the best out of our team.
