Got through this fixture fine, no hassles...
Ronaldo was good, but Giggs was fantastic at times.. Reasonable game from Saha, Vidic solid..

2-0
both goals coming from Ronaldo about a minute apart

Good result and performance, two goals in two minutes ended the game really. Giggs was majestic, it was as good as i've seen him play for a long time. Ronaldo and Evra also showed touches of class throughout the game. Saha looked rusty although its to be expected after his injury. Nice to see us back at the top of the league even if it's probably only going to be for just over 24 hours.

Good result, good preformances all arround but Wes takes my vote for MOM, apart from one moment when he was beaten from the inside he was solid in defense and a threat going forward.

Good performance all round. I'm happy with the result, just have to see how Arsenal perform tomorrow to find out how the table lies. i thought giggs played a blinder today he gets my MOM vote. 2 brilliant goals for Ronaldo puts him on 21 goals in 42 games (so sky sports says lol)

Whole team were class apart from Saha who needs games, badly.

We look so solid at the back, we dominated midfield again today with what is essentially a different central pairing then the one that won the title last season, and upfront the movement is sensational. Brown and Evra are getting forwards well, and the width with Giggs, Ronaldo and Nani are incredible.

Agreed, he definitely needs some games

I think Saha particularly struggled when he tried to bring the ball up by himself along the wings.

I find he's most effective when he is fed the ball closer to the 18 and has a decent amount of space to maneuver. Today he limited his space by going up the wing and when he didn't Blackburn defenders usually closed in on him fast. He was on the receiving end of a few bad tackles...probably made him hesitant prior to his coming off.

We are so strong in every area at the minute.

The back 5 are so strong as a unit I dont ever imagine us conceding, the midfield which ever players we use in those 4 positions we dictate and destroy from that area week after week and the attacking play betwean the front boys and the midfield support is as good if not better than anything I have seen in all my years of watching the game.

The Reading,Pompy & City period feels like something from years gone by with how we are playing at the minute.

Before this match, I think most people expected it to be a very tough fixture and potentally a match that may have brought us "back down to earth" (according to some scousers!!!).

But, it was another excellent performance and result.

Instead of bringing the team down to earth it will have the opposite effect and boost the confidence even more.

And all without Rooney, Scholes and Nev!!!!
